We are well versed in the area of Oil Pollution Law and the doctoral dissertation on one of our lawyers who went to Tulane Law School was titled “The anatomy of the United States Oil Pollution Act of 1990.” This was a 635 page long dissertation that included a textual analysis of the most comprehensive and extensive piece of Oil Pollution legislation in the world that has served as a model for Oil Pollution legislation the world over. This dissertation also undertook an extensive analysis of the insurance liability implications of oil pollution and discussed the international oil pollution liability regime. We represent stakeholders in the oil industry in analyzing their potential liability and rights in cases of oil spills.
